Every leg must win. The implied probability includes each leg’s vig, which compounds: a parlay carries much more margin than a single bet.

How to use it

  1. Enter each leg’s price, for example −110, −110 and +150. Add legs as needed, up to 12.
  2. Enter your stake.
  3. Read the parlay odds, profit and total return. Leave a leg blank to see the price without it, for example after a push.

The math

decimal = 1 + odds/100 for + odds · 1 + 100/|odds| for − odds

parlay decimal = decimal(leg 1) × decimal(leg 2) × … · payout = stake × parlay decimal

To check whether each leg is a good price, compare it with the no-vig price in the no-vig calculator or on the live boards, where the best value on each side is already highlighted.

For a same game parlay, multiply the legs here and compare the result with the slip. In an October 2026 check, DraftKings and FanDuel quoted an NFL side with the total for 1% to 11% less than the legs multiplied, on legs that land together no more often than chance; the same game parlay house edge page has the quotes and the results behind them.

Frequently asked questions

How are parlay odds calculated?

Convert each leg to decimal odds and multiply them together. Two legs at −110 (decimal 1.909 each) give 1.909 × 1.909 = 3.64, which is +264 in American odds. The payout is the stake times that combined decimal.

What happens if a leg pushes or is void?

At most sportsbooks the leg is removed and the parlay pays at the odds of the remaining legs. Rules differ by book and by sport, so check the house rules. To see the new price, clear that leg in the calculator.

Why do parlays carry more vig?

Each leg’s margin compounds. Three −110 legs carry about 4.5% margin each but roughly 13% together, so a parlay usually gives up much more expected value than the same bets placed singly.

Can a parlay be +EV?

Yes, if every leg is +EV against the no-vig price, or if the legs are correlated in a way the book does not price. Most books restrict obviously correlated legs in the same game.
